MHS Electronics is able to provide a comprehensive design and technical support service through its Design Services Department. Design Services comprises a broad-based team with significant experience and expertise in a number of areas, key to the realisation of Silicon IC design. These include a comprehensive layout service, front to back end design solutions and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Latchup protection consultation.
Design Kits - The team develops and supports a complete front to back end design capability on state of the art third party CAD software tools. A complete “plug and play” design environment is offered, comprising schematic capture, layout and comprehensive DRC and Layout Versus Schematic (LVS) design verification.
Layout support - Autographics prepares IC design data for external Mask vendors. This includes custom reticle constructions and a Design Rule Checking (DRC) service.
ESD review- MHS Electronics has gained considerable experience and expertise in the area of ESD design, especially for RF, power and high voltage applications. A range of ESD protection elements is provided and fully supported with the Process Design Kits (PDK). Elements have been specifically designed with RF applications in mind and a comprehensive ESD strategy and techniques guide is available. Furthermore, ESD specific design reviews are offered to help customers realise quality products, right first time.
